Building on a successful 2013 the ambitious Suffolk based collective Derelicht launch their forward thinking audio and visual bookings and management agency on the 24th May.
The concept of the agency is unique to the industry in that it will offer performance-based incentives. The agency will be capped at 10 artists to offer unrivalled artist support and will also be co-owned by the artists involved. Having recognised the seismic shift in artistically driven and visually orientated events, the agency will see visual artists including coders, mappers & projectionists being pitched shoulder to shoulder with their acoustically driven colleagues.
The agency currently consists of producer ThermalBear and visual artists Liam Roberts and Olly Jennings (Isness Army). The agency is primed to launch this Spring, which in true Derelicht style will be held in a unique, unobtainable decaying space in central Suffolk. Gracing the decks for a marathon 6-hour performance is South London Ordnance who will be accompanied by Derelicht resident – ThermalBear. Electro-acoustic band The Soft will also be performing an intimate live set.
The entire event is invite only, and will be filmed by Inverted Audio. The event will showcase bespoke visuals based on a theme of distorted feedback presented by the talented Liam Roberts. Anyone wishing to bag a last minute invite must register at Derelicht.
