The latest beacon from Newtype Rhythms features an arresting guest mix from UK-based producer Forest Drive West who has been making waves over the last year on labels such as Appian Sounds, Hidden Hawaii and most notably, the Bristol-based imprint Livity Sound.
Adapting and amplifying his sounds with tact, Forest Drive West’s methodical productions are crafted with a purpose of taking listeners on a journey that is equal parts meditative and mountainous in terms of its sub-sonic power. With a forthcoming 12″ coming out Livity Sound (entitled Static / Escape) coming out this week, he stops by our sister podcast series and provides a mix that’s equally as majestic as his productions.
