Origin Peoples line up new Madteo cassette ‘Unrescuable Dense Musik of the Blah Blahs’

Hot on the heels of his ‘Confessions of a Permanent Alien Opium Beater‘ tape, released last year via Origin Peoples, dancefloor occultist and leftfield hoodoo priest Madteo returns to the LA-based imprint with ‘Unrescuable Dense Musik of the Blah Blahs‘, scheduled for release 28th April 2018.

The work of Matteo Ruzzon needs little introduction. The Italian-born, NY-based producer’s copyrighted blends of low-slung house, muggy cityscape field recordings and freaky jazz on alternative current voltage have infected some of the most eminent labels around, including the likes of Workshop, Sähkö, Wania, TTT, Hinge Finger and more; each record further scrambling the numbers to establish a truly unique character who enjoys himself the most in and around the borderline zones of contemporary electronic music.

Stretched over 79 minutes and featuring most of the key artistic traits that made Madteo what he is, ‘Unrescuable Dense Musik of the Blah Blahs‘ is a seriously mind-altering odyssey across penetrating sound fractals and glitchy soundscapes, said to be “tumbling through free jazz and traversing alien landscapes, sludgy grooves, dissonant electronics and lo-fi hypnosis coalesce into his ominous and eccentric soundscape“, whilst “the love-hate relationship Madteo shares with his adopted homeland beams through subversive messaging”.

Unrescuable Dense Musik of the Blah Blahs is released via Origin Peoples on 28th April, pre-order a copy from the label’s webshop.
