Premiere: Aybee – Dshix

True to the transcending spirit of early US techno and introspective deep house, Aybee is one of the last representatives of a certain era and sound aesthetic whose reservoir of talent’s sadly seemed to dry out over the last decade. Sensitive and polyamorous, never straitjacketed in norms and habits, his music travels times and trends with a rare acuity.

Following up to his latest album – ‘The Odyssey‘ – released last year on his home label Deepblak, Armon Bazile returns on DMK with ‘The Motion Syntax EP‘, a breezy and soulful four-tracker that delves right into the finest of Chicagoan house music. With its poignant strings taking off in the most voluptuous fashion, ‘Dshix‘ melds syncopated drums, lively claps and a footwork-friendly swing, reaching straight for the sky as you elevate from the concrete-clad landscapes of the metropolis onto lushly-forested dreamscapes. A thing of beauty.

The Motion Syntax EP is released via DMK on 5th June, pre-order a vinyl copy from Juno.
