Premiere: _URTS – Gouffre

Now on the cusp of their seventh release, Lyon-based collective and imprint Silence Collapse prepare to release the collaborative effort ‘Khurki‘ – courtesy of producing duo Arslan Elbar and _URTS.

Following a quintessential sound design project for the video game Road 96 Mile 0, Montpellier-based producer Arslan Elbar joins forces with sound misfit _URTS for a series of four arcane echoes. On the ‘Khurki‘ EP, fast-paced techno, bass-heavy braindance, obscure juke, and other-worldly experimental music galumph the listener into derelict warehouses.

Our pick for the premiere is ‘Gouffre‘ – a deep dive into the abyssal landscapes of IDM. With its fusion of cutting-edge sound design, fireball techno rhythms reinforced with juke-infused kickdrums, hazed-out synth pads and UFO oscillations, it’s a call to navigate through the ruins of our collective unconscious.

‘Khurki’ EP is scheduled for release on 15th March via Silence Collapse. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
