Following VENT’s live showcase with The Trilogy Tapes production duo Rezzett in February, the Cairo based collective return to Dance Tunnel on Thursday 19th March inviting IVVVO, Robert Crash and IA MIX contributor Shinoby to play in Dalston.
Omar Contri aka Shinoby is a young promising producer from Verona, Italy. After collaborating and releasing a split with Dance Mania affiliated Parris Mitchell on Wicked Bass and Deep Moves, the man has recently dropped his first solo effort ‘Club Shock! EP‘ through his own freshly launched imprint Istheway featuring remixes from MGUN and The Analogue Cops.
IVVVO, real name Ivo Pacheco, is part of a young clique of Portuguese musicians that seek out new ways in electronic music. Ivvvo serves his beats raw and sinister, employing the whole palette of industrial sounds, moody layers and stoic techno drum patterns. The outcome can be claustrophobic and overpoweringly dense, although there’s most likely a hint of melodic relief hidden somewhere in the darkness. IVVVO releases span labels including Creme Organisation, Opal Tapes, Public Information and Danse Noire.
Robert Crash, real name Francesco Schito, is an Italian DJ, producer and label owner of Dog In The Night Records. His productions range from experimental house, acid and techno.
