About Inverted Audio

“Inverted Audio are one of the few spots still giving words to the underground”

Inverted Audio is a London/Berlin-based online magazine, launched in 2008 with the aim of spotlighting electronic music and the visual arts in a personal and detailed fashion.

Through thought-provoking and well-researched written articles, carefully curated events or visually captivating videos and photography, we pride ourselves on guiding discerning listeners towards music and art that doesn’t always garner the coverage it deserves.

Over the past decade we have forged a team of writers, DJ’s, producers, filmmakers and photographers, who all share an unparalleled passion for electronic music culture. Our combined efforts are the driving force behind what we do.

From producing a series of films for Dekmantel, programming a three day/night stage at Farr Festival and hosting our own audio visual raves in London, Inverted Audio is a lot more than your standard music blog.

After five years of non-stop usage, it’s time for us to update our website. The next version of Inverted Audio will provide a platform allowing our audience the ability to engage and interact with the content of the magazine and to enhance music discovery.

Being based in Berlin, you will work alongside our editor-in-chief and web developer to design how the website looks, feels and flows. We are after a web designer that appreciates our minimal aesthetic, with an exceptional eye for detail, typography, video and photography.

– Experience with an interactive design tool such as Framer / Sketch
– Knowledge of the WordPress platform
– Experienced in UX and multi-device implementation
– Excellent knowledge of best practices for web-based solutions as well as usability principles and techniques.
– Passion for underground electronic music and culture
