LabelApple Pips

Appleblim is best known for co-founding and running seminal bass music label Skull Disco with his friend and collaborator Shackleton. Skull Disco operated in London from 2005 to 2008 and released music primarily from Shackleton and Appleblim. Between them they put out about a dozen well-loved 12-inch records and two double-CD compilations. When the label dissolved in 2008, Appleblim moved to Bristol and founded the Apple Pips imprint. Since establishing the label Apple Pips have released records from Martyn, T++, Ramadanman, Instra:mental, Joe, Arkist and many more. Apple Pips is without doubt a staple of Bristol’s electronic music culture.
