Premiere: Delta Funktionen – Intrusion

Maintaining their high-flying standards of quality with unflinching pizzazz as years flow by, London’s Cultivated Electronics are now set to harbour the newest sortie from Berlin scene’s stalwart Nils Luinenburg, alias Delta Funktionen, known for his deep but dynamic dub techno sound, which has become indivisible with that of Delsin Records’ musical DNA, until and beyond the creation of his own label, Radio Matrix, where the German artist’s progressively shown a keenness to reform and transcend his own sound signature through new processes and research.

Lifted from Niels’ upcoming four-tracker for CE, the EP’s spooky opener ‘Intrusion‘ has us boarding the ghost train for a wild and bumpy ride into the haunted mansion’s darkest recesses. Nothing to soil yourself irrepressibly though, as Delta Funktionen shows no harmful intent in working his analogue hoodoo, rather well eager to connect the dots between a true-school Donaldian acid number, sheer fun-filled Dopplereffekt style, and a boozy night out in Lavender Town.
