Seven years after their inaugural release, Bristol-based imprint Off-Switch Audio line up their sophomore long-player ‘Imago‘ from local producer Nuboid.
Usually venturing through heavyweight 140BPM cuts, Nuboid returns this time with a boundary-pushing album blending mutant techno, UK bass, acid-soaked breakbeat, liquid drum & bass and dark ambient. As evidenced by the 11-tracks mastered by Foamplate at Plantpower Studios, ‘Imago‘ exemplifies Nuboid’s sophisticated understanding of our machine-subordinated planet.
Today, we are pleased to premiere ‘Ode2TS‘. From the start it gives off the thrills of a dystopian soundscape soon to be accompanied by an arsenal of tenebrous microseismic arpeggios, distorted drum rhythms and a pandemonium of fearful whispers. This is a psyched-out chugger intended for EBM zealots mingling with sluggish-sounding dithermongers.
