Six years after their inaugural release, Prague via Ostrava imprint Gin&Platonic prepare to release the seven-track ‘Boue‘ LP – courtesy of Montreal-based sound designer Racine.
Following previous releases on Aïsha Devi’s label Danse Noire and Greek avant-garde imprint evo-nature and torchbearer of the like-minded community Fau Mardi, ‘Boue‘ dives deep into avant-garde frequencies, freaky experimental, dark ambient and kosmische resentments.
Our pick for the premiere is ‘Boue IV‘ – a poignant piece about the disappearance of ice-calved landscapes for muddy soils. In an attempt to speculate about the impending demise of the blue sphere, Racine deploys deconstructed drum patterns, windswept soundscapes, and spooky melodies.
‘Boue’ is scheduled for release on 24th March via Gin&Platonic. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
