After delivering several releases from the likes of Rhythm Section’s affiliate Paula Tape and WOLF’s exponent Manuel Darquart, Milan-based imprint Alzaya line up its ninth effort ‘Dolphin’s Dance‘ – courtesy of Russian producer Konstantyn Isaev, better known as Volta Cab and Rambal Cochet.
Rambal Cochet is no stranger to the game. Following releases on Munich-based label Toy Tonics, Wrong Era and Amsterdam den of iniquity Bordello A Parigi, ‘Dolphin’s Dance’ is nothing less than a call to ecstasy, perfect for obscure sinkholes and dodgy beaches. From ethereal trance to dreamy house melodies, Rambal Cochet plunges deep into underworld dancefloors.
A ravening cricket colony orchestrates a supernatural sonic ellipse in ‘Virtual Nightmare‘, our pick from the release. With sci-fi frequencies, rippling drum grooves, and wobbling basslines shaking your third eye, Rambal Cochet delivers a midnight ceremony under the starry sky and only allows you to walk barefoot on the Black Sea shore.
‘Dolphin’s Dance’ is scheduled for release on 5th December via Alzaya. Order a vinyl copy from Bandcamp.
