Rooted in the concept of Kairosclerosis – the bittersweet moment of realising happiness and attempting to hold onto it – the album stretches beyond the bounds of abstraction, offering 11-tracks that feel like a neural pilgrimage through the uncharted corners of the mind. ‘\\Sciuridae///’ ventures through a fusion of athletic braindance, crystalline ambient and high-spirited downtempo.
Our pick ‘Silence For Synapse’ is a beguiling multiplex of sci-fi oscillations. Opening with corrupted arpeggios that flicker like broken circuitry, the track evolves into contemplative soundscapes, weaving dark ambient melancholy with glimmers of artificial reverie. A true labyrinth of otherworldly frequencies engulfing the audience in a cocoon of experimental synthesis.
