Premiere: Tommy Holohan – Father

Having demonstrated the effectiveness of his ‘Skull Crushing Techniques‘ last year with a high-impact debut 12-inch for HAVEN, Dublin’s on-the-rise raveologist Tommy Holohan drops anchor on the Berlin-based imprint again, hosing off lethal doses of his trademark waggish, sample-heavy junglistic moves, hi-NRG pound and trigger-happy hardcore exuberance. Hazardous voltage material to the hilt.

Streaming over our channels today, the Godwin law-obliterating ‘Father‘ is the very specimen of an unruly 160bpm adrenaline booster, sure to morph any crowd into an untameable mass of fractalised energy. Drawing a tried-and-true combo of equally blustery and finely chiselled DnB prog, sun-dazed pads and anthemic piano stabs to glaze the whole with a much vibey retro feel, Holohan serves up a ripper of a classic rave theme, as easy to love as it’s tough to stop drowning yourself in.

Skull Crushing Techniques Vol.2 is released via HAVEN on 22nd November, pre-order a copy from Bandcamp.
