Premiere: Shaun Reeves – Playground

Detroit-based record label Infolines gear up to release a 4-track various artist compilation ‘The Works‘.

Featuring a surefire roster of producers focused on machine-made grooves infused with Detroit techno aesthetics and minimal textures. Contributors include label boss ADMN together with Aran Daniels, plus solo tracks from Visionquest co-founder Shaun Reeves, Bendersnatch and Gino.

Our pick from the EP is ‘Playground‘ by Shaun Reeves. Entering a dazed-out state of consciousness, the Berlin-based producer unfolds a 7-minute midnight waltz of minimal house enhanced with elevating kick-drums, bouncing basslines, synthesised signals and liquified cherubs murmuring beneath a liquid haze.

‘The Works’ is scheduled for release 14 June via Infolines. Order a copy from Bandcamp
