Alien Communications line up compilation with DMX Krew, Reptant, Carl Finlow and ERP

Since launching in 2020, London-based record label Alien Communications have carved out a wormhole within the ever-expanding multiverse of electro – part ancestral tribute, part forward-facing manifesto.

Now, with the unveiling of their debut label compilation ‘Astral Projections‘, the imprint maps the liminal zones where machine funk, mutant breaks and galactic synaesthesia converge. At the helm is Alien Communications’ elusive curator-in-chief, assembling twelve of the most revered and subversive architects operating across the genre’s evolving continuum. ‘Astral Projections‘ is an intergenerational symposium, an encoded transmission for heads navigating the outer territories of electro’s recombinant DNA.

Frequencies arrive courtesy of Rotterdam-based sentinel ERP, whose clinical funk continues to trace lines from the Drexciyan abyss to present-day neural circuitry. Melbourne-based producer Reptant slithers through with his signature high-res amphibian oscillations, while MOY summons the broken arithmetic of braindance into dizzying fractal patterns. The enigmatic Client_03 delivers encrypted missives from the future’s surveillance zones, while Plant43’s analog cartographies unfurl crystalline electro-geometries for urban mystics.

Elsewhere, French maestro Carl Finlow continues his long-standing affair with cybernetic sensuality, Transparent Sound return with their non-Euclidean groove matrices and Radioactive Man reasserts his status as one of the UK’s most enduring electro psychonauts. Glasgow-based legend Domenic Cappello injects twilight club hypnosis, Fasme refracts oddball euphoria through acid prisms and the ever-prolific DMX Krew reminds us why his playful unpredictability remains untouchable across decades.

‘Astral Projections‘ is scheduled for release 20th May via Alien Communications. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
