On Saturday 11 October, Inverted Audio Record Store hosts a special in-store event with Alt Dub label boss Federsen, celebrating the release of cv313 & Federsen – Altering Dimensions Part One.
Marking the first chapter in a new collaborative series that will later form a long player project, Altering Dimensions Part One brings together two highly respected figures in dub techno: cv313 and Federsen.
Detroit-based producer cv313 (Stephen Hitchell of Echospace) has long been a central force in shaping dub techno, known for defining works such as Seconds to Forever and the seminal Dimensional Space LP. His sound is rooted in immersive atmospheres, weighty low-end and hypnotic rhythms. Joining him is San Francisco’s Federsen, whose meticulous analogue-driven approach has led to releases on Echospace Detroit, Grayscale, Synchrophone and Avant Roots, earning him recognition as one of the genre’s most forward-thinking voices.
Join us at Inverted Audio Record Store on 11 October to hear Federsen present this release in person with an all vinyl DJ set. Expect an evening immersed in the deep currents of dub techno, surrounded by like-minded listeners and the raw energy of vinyl played in-store.
