In-Store: Vertex Recordings present Havantepe ‘Rain on Window’ release party

Join us on Saturday 16th August at Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham for an all vinyl session from Verdant Recordings label boss Andy Green to celebrate the release of ‘Rain on Window‘ from Istanbul-based producer Havantepe.

Havantepe is the stage name of Turkish-German producer and DJ Ismail Genc, co-founder of the Sublime Porte label. Born near Stuttgart, Germany, he moved to Istanbul in 1994 and has been producing and playing techno since 1999.

Releasing music on a variety of imprints including Dutch label spclnch, 200 Records and Baum Records, his latest record lands on Vertex, a label collaboration between Verdant Recordings (Andy Green]) & Exalt Records (Jamie Bargeman).

Consisting of three solo tracks and two remixes, ‘Rain on Window’ blends minimal dub techno with atmospheric electronics, primed to enthral the most discerning of listeners.

The free to attend in-store event commences at 6pm and ends at 9pm. We’ll have copies of ‘Rain on Window’ on sale at the in-store, so be sure to join us for a dance!
