Bonafide Scottish deejay, producer and local hero Pigeon Steve kick starts Parts Unknown’s brand new record label Future State with a four track EP exploring acid-tinged breaks, techno and trance.
Parts Unknown is the brains behind Wormhole Wisdom, a sub-label of Craigie Knowes – responsible for reissuing rare house and techno records. ‘FS1‘ marks both Pigeon Steve’s first vinyl release and the debut release on Future State.
A mastermind in the fields of producing, record selection and hosting regular nights as 1 half with U-Bo. Pigeon Steve has booked a cast of heavyweights for Scottish club night Partial including; DJ Stingray, Anthony Naples, Beautiful Swimmers, Ben UFO, Call Super, Charlie Bones, House of Traps, Intergalactic Gary, John Gómez, Mother, Pearson Sound, Rezzett, Silent Servant, Sunil Sharpe, Zaltan and Zed Bias.
Pigeon Steve now steps up to release his first swathe of lucid electronics, downtempo trance and euphoric breaks. Highlights from the EP include ‘Chuffalump‘ and ‘Polemico‘. Artwork by visual artist pedro_zoz.
