Swiss producer Ben Kaczor returns with ‘Peace In Mind‘, a deep and driving four-track EP on Berlin-based label Stólar, featuring a remix from Spanish producer Tibi Dabo. Following his standout ‘To Baby Bones’ EP on Lola Haro’s Small Steps imprint, Kaczor continues to refine a sound that balances emotional weight with crisp drum programming and immersive chords, landing perfectly between dreamy atmospheres and club-focused precision.
Premiering today, ‘Feeling Of Wind & Home‘ is the EP’s standout track: clean, clinical drum programming delivered with signature finesse, offset by a harsher clap that adds bite and urgency. The groove is tight yet spacious, allowing the low-end to breathe while each percussive detail lands with intent, as Kaczor builds tension patiently rather than forcing release.
A stirring synth line unfolds through the track, accented by twinkling chords that bring a melancholic lift to its driving rhythm. Fittingly, the artwork continues Stólar’s long-running visual motif – Stólar is Icelandic for chairs, and every release on the label features one on its sleeve. This time, the cover captures a quiet, uncanny scene of plastic-wrapped seats sitting in sterile light, mirroring the EP’s tone: controlled, reflective and designed for late-night dancefloors.
