Premiere: Birds – Wicked Games

Rotterdam-based record label Feed The Void line up ‘Space Transmissions‘, the latest transmission from label founder and producer Birds.

Following her debut album ‘Home‘ in July 2024, Birds returns with a five track release mapping a cryptic world where coldwave intertwines with fractured dubstep and skeletal atmospheres, humming with the tension of abandoned machinery flickering back to life.

Our pick ‘Wicked Games‘, opens like a scrambled transmission from deep space oscillating between slow motion dubstep and hypnotic percussion loops. Greasy acid lines snake their way through thick clouds of vaporous drone. Birds’ voice hovers like a ghost in the signal, suspended in the collapse of human civilisation.

‘Space Transmissions‘ is scheduled for release 4th July via Feed The Void. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
