Following the kinetic rush of Hidden Allure, Conor CC returns to his Origin CC imprint with Air, a darker, more deliberate cut that trades peak-time velocity for low-slung tension.
Running at a weightier 120 BPM than the all the more brisk Hidden Allure, the track evokes Overmono-esque break patterns and a thick, rumbling low-end, locking the listener into a groove that’s as hypnotic as it is physical. A distorted male vocal acts as the hook around which echoing mids loop and razor-sharp percussion sequencing slices cuts through the murk.
There’s a palpable sense of drama running throughout Air, all sweat, shadow and pressure, capturing those euphoric club moments where release and darkness coexist, and the room feels suspended between movement and collapse.
