Following up the dust-stirring release of ‘II‘ from White Triangles last April, Berlin-based imprint sidehatch prepare to release their next dispatch ‘Fuck The Legal Stations’ from LA-based multi-instrumentalist Sean Farrell, better known as DeadSeanKennedy.
Anchored in a large spectrum of breakbeats, ‘Fuck The Legal Stations’ feels equal parts pirate cyberpunk broadcast and future-archival jungle séance. Over the course of ten sweat-slicked tracks, Farrell cracks open the circuitry of breakbeat’s golden ghosts and reassembles the pieces into a post-Full Cycle ritual.
Our pick is ‘Business And My Bread‘ – a rogue sunrise anthem that glides in on the shimmer of detuned bell loops before spiralling into a broken-glass ballet of amen workouts. Farrell stitches together vocals, smoked-out tension and synthesizers that bubble like a knackered modded arcade board.
‘Fuck The Legal Stations’ is scheduled for release on 20th June via sidehatch. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
