Following up an impecable full length from Lb Honne earlier this year, Zurich-based record label and collective Project Indigo prepare to unleash their fourth vinyl release courtesy of Dutch producer Hame.
Celebrated for his take on melancholic house music, Hame serves up a four track extended player that is said to blend “atmospheric melodies with thoughtful production, creating a sound that is both introspective and danceable.”
Indeed, ‘Self Expression’ offers a beacon of respite amidst dark times, providing a medley of warm atmospheres and heartfelt emotion alongside moments of euphoria. Our pick is opening track ‘Everyday‘ thanks to vaporous chords, undulating bass and playful drum programming, providing a sweet spot between home listening and the dancefloor.
