Premiere: Hame – Take Your Time

Following Pintai’s debut various artist EP in October 2024, Dutch label head Hame steps into the spotlight with ‘Set Me Free‘ — the imprint’s first solo extended player.

Across four tracks, Hame delivers a deeply emotive exploration of melodic deep house, weaving raw feeling into soaring synths and bittersweet progressions. It’s a record that doesn’t just play — it resonates, producing wave after wave of goosebumps. As a whole, ‘Set Me Free‘ feels like a heartfelt nod to the world of Traumprinz and his many aliases, echoing the same ethereal intensity and introspective warmth.

Each cut offers its own immersive soundscape, but it’s the closing track, ‘Take Your Time’, that truly stands out. With deep, driving kicks, tightly wound hi-hats, lush chords and vaporous choral vocals, it builds patiently toward a breathtaking climax. At the halfway point, everything aligns — a euphoric, teary-eyed, hands-in-the-air moment that lingers long after the music fades.

‘Set Me Free’ is scheduled for release on 11 April via Pintai. Pre-order a vinyl copy from Inverted Audio Record Store and digital from Bandcamp.
