Cairo via Montreal-based producer Hassan Kamel – better known as Hermit – plunges deep into the underworld with ‘Acidloop808′, his third release in less than six months.
Following a string of mesmerising deep-house incantations under his In2Deep moniker via Spanish outlet Seven Villas Records, Hermit shifts gear into full-throttle, forging a 128 BPM acid workout engineered for the most feverish of backroom dances.
A restless cascade of machine-fuelled ecstasy, ‘Acidloop808′ unspools like an alchemical rave mantra, where sculpted 4/4 drums collide with swelling synths and vocals. As the tension builds, a spectral blackout looms on the horizon, teasing the emergence of a future club relic.
