Warsaw-based label Mixed Feelings gear up to issue ‘Flames Remixed‘ EP from label head honcho Jaxe.
Following up his ‘Seekings‘ EP in 2019 via Polish imprint Dom Trojga, ‘Flames Remixed’ brings together four local producers including 5153’s affiliate Avtomat, Bakblivv, The Very Polish Cut Outs warlock TAMTEN and Bejenec, resulting in an array of rhythms exploring breaks, deconstructed footwork and mutant EBM.
We’ve selected Bejenec‘s remix as our pick thanks to its heavy-weight aesthetic. In keeping with his broad-ranging club sound, Bejenec illuminates listeners with a muddy green smoke torch whilst channeling deep bass, corroded amen breaks and fathomless echoes giving rise to heavy-duty breaks and interludes of obscure grime.
