Following up ‘Rotary Perception’ from Loose Cables, Nottingham-based record label Running Circle prepare to release ‘Nothing Will Disappear‘ from London-based supergroup Kinkajous.
In the wake of their third appearance on Running Circle, the quintet—fronted by the dynamic duo of drummer Benoît Parmentier and saxophonist Adrien Cau—marks their return with their much-anticipated 9-tracks album ‘Nothing Will Disappear’. This wooden-carved sonic amulet weaves together celestial jazz, neo-orchestral lullabies and feverish breakbeats, crafting a slumbering cabin that will enchant fans of Floating Points and Matthew Halsall.
At a steady 132 BPM, avant-garde ensemble Kinkajous layers ‘Pulses‘ with mind-altering synth oscillations and deconstructed, space-echoed drum patterns. The result is a symphonic exploration that engulfs listeners into the depths of introspection, immersing them in an ultra-cinematic saxophone frenzy. It sweeps late-night marauders into a cloud-like eruption, where the very essence of mankind hangs in the balance, poised at the precipice of infinity.
‘Nothing Will Disappear’ is scheduled for release on 18th October via Running Circle Records. Order a vinyl copy from Bandcamp.
