Premiere: Ko Yang – Wonder BCN (Max In The World’s Heavenly Spaces Remix)

Kyoto-based imprint NC4K return with their sophomore release of the year, the long-awaited ‘Wonder BCN‘ extended player from City Boy Lounge’s resident Ko Yang.

‘Wonder BCN‘ marks the second EP from Ko Yang, who has previously released music in 2022 through New York-based imprint Bliss Point. Over the course of three tracks, Yang steps up to Stones Taro’s imprint and weaves a tapestry of poignant deep house jams completed with a warehouse-ready remix from Bliss Point’s label head honcho Max In The World.

Our pick from the release is Max In The World’s version of ‘Wonder BCN‘ produced by Ko Yang. As it kicks off, a peak time reverie blasts through a sultry club night in one of Kinugawa’s abandoned Onsen hotels. With a fusion of pumping kick drums, lighthouse echo effects and dreamy synthesizers punctuated by a high-spirited monologue interlude, Max In The World dives deep into the uncanny pleasures of human nature.
