Glacial Movements prepare to release the much-anticipated debut album from Italian multi-disciplinary artist Lia Bosch.
Designed as a sci-fi soundtrack exploring the moonlit ice-fields of Antarctica, ‘Polar Code‘ stands as a testament to Bosch’s versatility as a producer, poet and visual artist. Spanning 12-tracks, the release ventures through a fragmented yet captivating narrative, rich with semi-solid echoes of drone, fourth world influences and dark ambient textures.
Our pick is ‘New Parameters‘, enveloping listeners in stretched-out soundscapes that unfurls a misty ambiance from the outset. Bosch artfully blends crystalline echoes of eternity with a surge of cosmic frequencies, creating an auditory experience akin to traversing frozen waters beneath ice-sculpted arches aboard a wooden drakkar, all while glimpsing Gaspar Noé’s film ‘Enter The Void‘ (2009) on a miniature screen.
‘Polar Code’ LP is scheduled for release 22 November via Glacial Movements. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
