Back in May, Zürich record label Lustpoderosa issued ‘Ace Ure Bra‘ LP from Geneva-based mastermind Lool 2 Luul.
Known for his compositions under various monikers such as TANZ/TANZ, Q-Baba and 4-5 AM PM, multi-instrumentalist necromancer Lool 2 Luul dropped his long-awaited debut ‘Ace Ure Bra‘ – a metaphysical ambient techno grimoire enmeshed in sci-fi chuggers, acid-infused downtempo and obscure breakbeats.
Our pick from the release is ‘Persona‘. Blurring the lines between cinematic ambient and slo-mo breaks, ‘Persona’ features earth-shaking kick-drums interwoven with high-spirited soundscapes and trippy FX-soaked textures resulting in a dancefloor meditation engulfing listeners in a cloud-shaped world.
