After a string of EPs over the past five years, Brussels-based label Spaceless return with a sprawling 17-track remix compilation, ‘All Stars,’ expertly curated by Belgian producer Marc Satseg.
The release is a masterful retrospective, revisiting the imprint’s diverse catalog through a fresh lens, adding layers of complexity and texture to the original works. With a lineup that reads like a world-class of contemporary dancefloor architects, ‘All Stars’ taps into a dynamic pool of talent.
Remixers include Gop Tun mainstay Agrabah, the ever-evolving Paolo Mosca, Barcelona-based innovator TC80, Jamahr, Sintoniza’s visionary Alex Dittrich, Haws affiliate DJ Chupacabra, and the shapeshifting Hamdi Ryder. Together, they create a sonic playground where the pulsating energy of leftfield house rhythms meets the electric charge of high-octane disco stompers, breakbeats and the celestial allure of sci-fi trance.
Our standout pick is Prince de Takicardie’s interpretation of ‘We Love You.’ A masterclass in mutant Italo-disco, the remix fuses trance-drenched frequencies with the eerie resonance of alien-like gravitational forces, all propelled by meticulous drum programming. The track’s hypnotic arpeggios wrap the audience in a whirlpool of unspoken yearnings, making it the kind of peak-time anthem that pulses with a quiet, yet undeniable urgency.
