Premiere: NIKKNAME – Wind & Fairies

Live At Robert Johnson line up their next extended-player release from from Vienna-based producer NIKKNAME.

Known for his Freeride Millenium escapades alongside Jorkes and previous releases on Traum Schallplatten, NIKKNAME’s return to Robert Johnson’s catalogue is a full-spectrum exercise in synth-soaked catharsis. Across three meticulously crafted tracks, ‘Crossover EP plunges into an intoxicating abyss where dark ambient storms clash with post-EBM opulence and skeletal disco house.

Standout cut ‘Wind & Fairies’ unfolds like an avant-garde weather symphony. NIKKNAME layers earth-shaking drone with whispers of wind, threading corrupted field recordings through a digital tapestry of neo-baroque chorus. As spooky piano chords and flute-like frequencies emerge from the tempest, the track resolves in an ethereal calm, offering a fleeting glimpse of serenity amidst the chaos.

‘Crossover’ is scheduled for release 13th December via Live At Robert Johnson. Order a copy from Bandcamp
