Following the 2023 debut of their ‘Shared Sense‘ various artists compilation and the 2024 solo ‘Watershed‘ EP from Pintai label boss Hame, Amsterdam’s multi-prismatic label and podcast series Far Blue operated by Sam & Lawrence return with their third vinyl release – this time from Italian production duo Orion.

Spanning five tracks, Orion delve deep into emotion and rhythm, presenting their most poignant and dreamscape material to date. The result is an EP that commands your full attention from start to finish.

A-side opens with the ambient-leaning title track, setting a contemplative tone before shifting gears with the kinetic energy of ‘Doel‘ and ‘Teen Dreams‘. But it’s on the B-side where the intensity truly unfolds. ‘Bee‘ features skittering hi-hat patterns cascading continuously with razor sharp precision, soaring synths cut through the mix with striking emotional force.

‘Her’ is scheduled for release on the 12th June via Far Blue. Pre-order a vinyl copy from Inverted Audio Record Store and digital from Bandcamp.
