Premiere: REARK & VOOR – Lightstep

Succeeding the various artist compilation ‘FT ON NINA 02‘ in December 2023, Paris-based imprint French Tabloïd return with the collaborative ‘Pilgrim‘ EP – courtesy of misfit duet VOOR and Reark.

Following previous appearances on Funkysouls and French Tabloïd, NYC-based producer VOOR joins forces with London-based sound provider Reark for four tracks of serene contemplation. With the ‘Pilgrim‘ EP, the duo presents a digital fantasy filled with laidback electronica and mindless experimental.

Our pick for the premiere is ‘Lightstep‘ produced by Reark and VOOR. An intricate blend of diaphanous 2-step rhythms and a lambent soundscape filled with multilayered synth frequencies makes this the perfect slumber party tune.

‘Pilgrim’ EP is scheduled for release on 31st January via French Tabloïd. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
