Premiere: RONI – Fault Lines

Presenting the second edition of their ‘Club Entry‘ compilation series, Borne Fruits enlist 12 producers to honour the former home of London’s nightclub The Cause.

Consisting of 11-tracks, ‘Club Entry’ brings together a roster of late-night troublemakers venturing through a sophisticated patchwork of cyber footwork, ultrasonic breaks, UK funky and percussion-heavy oddities. Contributors include Céad’s affiliate NIKS, Roaming Data, Daytimers mainstay Riva, label head honcho Amaliah, DreamrDreamr and Nezha Records label boss RONI.

Our pick is ‘Fault Lines‘ from Paris-based producer RONI – a warped potion brewed especially for subterranean shufflers seeking relief from the dawning sun, combining superlunary oscillations with pumping kick drums and spiralling mouth harp harmonies.

‘Club Entry Vol. 2’ is scheduled for release on 31st May via Borne Fruits. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
