Premiere: Syntrovert – Opilión

Mexico City-based imprint Ineffable return with a high-voltage charge of Latin club futurism with ‘Néctar y Neón’ – an electrified split EP that places Valparaíso-based producers Paltamango and syntrovert in the spotlight.

Unfolding across eight tracks, the release oscillates between percussive, swamp-drenched reggaeton mutations and warehouse-rattling techno kinetics. Paltamango wields a toolkit of bass-heavy grooves, extracting rhythmic dynamite from the crosscurrents of dubstep and dembow, while syntrovert steers the ship into high-octane territory – deploying merciless, tempo-scorching techno that surges through the veins like a liquid poison.

Our pick, ‘Opilión’ by syntrovert, is a synaptic overload at 136 BPM – a turbo-charged migration of mechanical limbs and effervescent frequencies, driven by terror-stricken arachnids. Arpeggios spark like flint against steel, while interstellar drum programming weaves a tangled web of kinetic energy, evoking a neon-lit arcade dreamscape where every loop is a high-speed cruise into the unknown.

‘Néctar y Neón‘ is scheduled for release 7th March via Ineffable. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
