Even if the name TV.OUT doesn’t ring a bell at first, chances are you’ve already been dancing ardently to their tunes. Linchpins of Tel-Aviv’s growing club scene as residents of the Alphabet club and co-founders of local imprint Parallax, the duo comprised of Ori Itshaki and Doron “Charly” Mastey is now rapidly gaining international renown through their various productions and recent collaborations along the likes of Smallpeople, Samo DJ and Berlin producer Annanan.
As befits analog purists, Ori and Charly operate from their full-armed hardware gear home-studio to curate their material. Whether they are serving up ominous 4/4 techno cuts, broken IDM, dubby house jams, or ghostly soundscapes there is always a nifty sense of warmth that enfolds their output.
Today we are happy to bring you ‘Haven‘, taken from their newest release ‘Sea Of Consciousness EP‘, set for release on Nick Anthony Simoncino’s HotMix imprint as a limited 10″. The track brings in a groovy collage of ambient pads, throbbing percussions and shimmering synths operating along jungle birds’ chanting, imbuing genuine tropical verve in the mix.
