Veil Theory prepare to release ‘Siddhi’, the latest transmission from Connecticut-based producer UNER, formerly known as NIN3S, marking a long-awaited return after a 5 years in the ether.
A staple of the previous decade’s deep-tech landscape, with a back catalog spanning Solomun’s Diynamic imprint and a remix for the legendary Laurent Garnier, Spanish producer UNER emerges from hiatus with renewed intent. ‘Siddhi’ serves as the first ripple of an impending tidal shift, teasing the arrival of his forthcoming full-length, ‘CONTICINIUM’.
Tuned to the frequencies of a deep-space techno observatory, ‘Siddhi’ charts a course through the producer’s lifelong legacy. A high-velocity fusion of razor-edged drum work and cosmic synth swells, it feels like IDM’s restless ghost trapped inside a biomechanical dreamstate, a flickering tapestry of celestial arpeggios, cyborg pulses and machine-made rhythms. At the 2-minute mark, gears lock in and the track detonates into a maelstrom of bare-knuckle techno, careening into the abyss with pure gravitational force.
