Fresh from a headline performance at MIRA Festival 2014, London based visual artist Oliver Jennings has released a biographical video account of the transition from an award winning RHS Chelsea Flower Show installation to performing live immersive visuals fusing the living and the digital worlds alongside Rone and Ochre.
With a background of unearthing vibration signatures, energy patterns and bio-activity from innate sources and translating this into visual and sound activity Oliver Jennings practice spans multiple genres. His commissioning for MIRA Festival this year in Barcelona left many people guessing how this metamorphosis would be achieved, including the main artists Rone and Ochre he was performing alongside.
In this documentary Oliver reveals through narrative his journey, inspiration and challenges in translating a bio-activity type installation into the live performance domain.
