Succeeding the ‘Case Edits Vol. 3‘ from Beyonders in February 2024, British imprint Beyonders prepare to release the four-track ‘Hoult‘ EP – courtesy of multi-instrumentalist virtuoso Mal Sharp, also known as M4LA.
In addition to numerous appearances on Product as a member of Craggz and Parallel Forces, ‘Hoult‘ delivers four tracks of self-made symphony combining twilight downtempo, dub riddims, balearic delights and post-rock nostalgia.
Our pick for the premiere is ‘Diaspora‘ – a dubbed-out hideaway crafted for euphoric dwellers exploring uncanny territories. With its space-echoed rhythms underpinned by thumping kickdrums, sanguine synth swirls, groovy bass torpedoes and ethereal chants, M4LA’s gardens hold a promising augury for radiant minds.
