Six years after their inaugural release, Italian imprint Ivreatronic prepare to release the three-track ‘Incantesimo‘ EP – courtesy of Rome-based producer Mondocane.
Following releases from Paris-based imprint Epicure, Ohxala, Shango and Global Hybrid among others, ‘Incantesimo‘ stands as an ode to the mellifluous utterance of Gabriella Ferri – a legendary Romanesco singer. As part of this release, Mondocane weaves a consortium of leftfield oddities, downtempo chuggers and psyched-out tribal with two remixes courtesy of Fabio Fabio and Front De Cadeaux.
Our pick for the premiere is Front De Cadeaux‘s interpretation of ‘Incantesimo‘ produced by Mondocane – a 90 BPM chugger crafted for mollifying panic-stricken highbrows. Producing duo Front Des Cadeaux creates a third-eye opening experience for leftfield freaks combining a high amount of heartfelt kickdrums reinforced with mystic percussions and erotic arpeggio oscillations fused with oriental syncopated sounds.
