Canadian producer Dylan James Khotin-Foote returns this September under his Area 3 alias with ‘View’, his third cassette album under this alias on Khotin Industries.
Across six tracks, ‘View’ continues Khotin’s pursuit of dreamscape soundscapes, drifting between meditative ambient, new age and experimental textures. The album leans into spaciousness, favouring fluid tones and gentle rhythms that welcome introspection.
Khotin describes the release as music designed “for relaxation and enjoyment in the home or in nature,” and ‘View’ embraces that ethos fully – offering a serene listening experience that feels equally suited to quiet indoor moments or long, reflective walks outside.
As with much of Khotin’s work, there’s a sense of intimacy to the compositions: melodies appear and dissolve like passing clouds, field recordings and atmospheric layers blur the line between the organic and the electronic.
‘View’ is scheduled for release on 5th September via Khotin Industries.
