Bell Curve brings the bass for Newtype Rhythms

After a somnambulant period of spring cleaning, Newtype Rhythms returns this summer with a captivating new episode featuring a banger of a guest mix. We are thrilled to present Bell Curve, the co-founder of Worst Behavior Records, who has been refining her already-impactful sound within the higher BPMs of the club sphere, not far removed from their “Space Jungle” Mixtape from last summer, where she made waves with her distinguished sonic sensibilities.

Now, Bell Curve is ready to take the spotlight once again with her latest venture – an impressive seven-track EP that promises to be both varied and vivacious. Released this past weekend on Modeselektor’s esteemed club-concise label SSPB, the EP titled “Obelisk” showcases her versatility and artistry, solidifying her position as a rising star in the electronic music scene that is unafraid to venture in tempos and territories unbeknown.

Prepare to be enthralled as Bell Curve delivers a raucous and replenishing guest mix, as if it was ready to be played out loudly in the summer. With her impeccable mixing skills and the ability to seamlessly blend genres, tones, and textures, she will take you on an unforgettable journey from around the 40-minute mark. As always – resident Sheepshead will warm things up as usual, setting the stage for the blistering guest mix that follows.
