Prior to their Sydney Opera House debut in May 2022, Australian post-punk duo HTRK recorded a behind closed doors performance at the Drama Theatre, drawing heavily from their 2021 album ‘Rhinestones‘.
Presented as a 38-minute monochromatic film, Jonnine Standish and Nigel Yang provide fans with a truly magical performance, flittering between whispered lament, acoustic eulogy and downtempo vignettes. Once again, HTRK continue to make us weep.
‘Rhinestones’ is out now via N & J Blueberries. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
