We are seeking for a new intern to join us in South East London between the months of July – September to work periodically alongside our editor-in-chief in order to aid with the operations of our new online record shop Inverted Audio Store.
The internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience at an industry leading electronic music magazine and online record store.
You will focus on Inverted Audio Store – learning how to catalogue, grade, photograph, market and promote records. You will also attend record fairs inside and outside of London.
You can also contribute articles to Inverted Audio, learn how to promote club events, refine our social media and newsletter strategy and aid in the curation of our IA MIX podcast and cassette series, plus contribute ideas to help improve the platform.
The ideal applicant will be passionate about electronic music culture, skilled at social media, have a keen eye for detail and keen to work at record fairs.

– A creative, driven and ambitious individual who is eager to learn and apply their skillset accordingly
– Interested in people with knowledge in electronic music, record culture, clubbing, festivals.
– Excellent English written skills
– Strong Social/Digital skills, Video & Photography
What you will be doing
– Using your inventive and creative thinking to come up with ideas on how to promote Inverted Audio to new audiences, encompassing events, record fairs, vinyl records, festivals.
– Listing and promoting records, helping with product photography, descriptions and promotions
– Posting to social media
– Help curate podcast series and cassette series
– DJ networking and outreach
– Communication and organisation with record stores, artists, DJ’s and magazines
