Following releases on The Trilogy Tapes, Planet Mu, Blackest Ever Black and Apron Records – reclusive British producer John T. Gast has released his latest album through 5 Gate Temple.
‘5GTOUR‘ is the result of “airplane tablet constructions” written by Gast throughout 2019, supposedly whilst on tour in China and Japan, performing at events including OIL 2 Year Anniversary and Circulation 2.0.
Composed of 12 brooding experimental tracks, ‘5GTOUR’ ventures through abstract electronics, rugged bass, low-slung beats and noise. Highlights include “Bad“, “Snakin” and “SPDM Return TK3“. Buy a digital copy via Bandcamp.
On 29 November, John T. Gast will perform a deejay set at The Glove That Fits in Hackney, as part of DIY’s collaboration event with Dark Entries Records.
