Luke Blair marks his return as Lukid in October with his fifth solo album ‘Tilt‘, self-issued through his own Glum imprint, home to his essential 12″s ‘Spitting Bile‘ and ‘Boxing Club‘.
11 years since his previous album on Werkdiscs, ‘Tilt‘ serves up 10 hazy excursions into Lukid’s refracted sound field offering up “an LP rife with granular beauty and interlocking melodic flourishes.” Highlights include ‘Haringey Leisure‘, ‘Belly 2‘ and ‘How It’s Made‘.
Having kept his solo output quiet since ‘Drip‘ EP on Arcola, Blair has continued to progress his collaboration with Jackson Bailey as Rezzett, recently issuing their second album ‘Meant Like This‘ in April and follow up extended player ‘Boshly‘ in May through Will Bankhead’s record label The Trilogy Tapes. Blair has also released a hotly tipped jungle 12-inch through his Refreshers imprint.
‘Tilt’ is scheduled for release on the 6th October via Glum. Order a copy from Bandcamp.
