Marking their first collaboration since a 2022 remix on Natura Viva Black, Italian producers Markyno (Valentino Montanelli) and Fabrizio Marra team up for ‘Monster‘, a three-track release for St. Petersburg’s Polyptych Limited.
Building on their respective solo discographies, the pair have logged hours in studios and clubs honing in on a particular strain of tech house that’s sprawling, psychedelic, and ready to get the feet moving.
On ‘Monster‘, Markyno and Marra dig deep into the groove and dish out three cuts of slow-burn minimal techno primed to warm up the coldest climes during these winter months. Our pick from this release is ‘No Ope’ – a charging, low slung slice of progressive house laced with squiggly synths, precise percussive hits, and warped vocals sprinkled throughout.
