It’s Inverted Audio’s pleasure to introduce brand new DIY label from Berlin, Craft Services. Founded by producer 11:68PM, who already has releases on R.A.N.D. and his own What If It Works imprint, the label’s ethos is stated as firmly rooted in dancefloor aesthetics.
Solid State epitomises that ethos, a track that’s simple in structure yet effective in execution, tailor-made for those DJs with a penchant for discerning, elegantly arranged house music. Navigating a soundscape of chopped up vocal samples and chunky house rhythms, the listener is treated to brief dips into lush pools of lush pads, before a wriggling acid line and piping synths provide yet more colour and movement to the mix.
The EP was produced and refined over summer 2025, and through Solid State you can almost feel the warm breeze of 2026’s golden months softly blowing through the open window – a foretaste of seasons to come.
